On the same day that I read this blog post positing that the lowly QR code is going the way of the dinosaurs, I opened my (paper) Wall Street Journal to find this:
So I scanned it, signed into Facebook (groan!) and there it was, ready to share.
If Social Media Today is advising that the QR code is dead, why has The Wall Street Journal started using them to encourage people to link to its stories?
I find the whole QR thing inconvenient. Two admissions: 1) I have to use my iPad to QR, as my phone doesn’t have a data contract, and 2) I hate signing into Facebook. Again.
Does the rest of the world (or at least Journal readers) feel differently?
